Ode To A Filthy Bathtub

furry hairball in the drain
toothpaste on the window pane
soapy film on porcelin
dirty water lies within

ring of scum and mineral dripped
dirty tiles are cracked and chipped
fungus on the bathroom ceiling
moisture made the paint start peeling

moldy curtain in the tub
a bath would be a wash in grub
rusty stains on the shower head
but i'd rather take a shower instead
