here i am, just doing my thing
waiting for what this life will bring

trying to get along, stay afloat, try not to drown
in this flooded town

filling up time, trying to raise my cheer
wish you were here

trying to stay busy and expand my zone
its hard alone

attempting to make it
keep myself happy
so often treated like shit
days that i feel crappy

here i am, and i'm still alive
doing my thing, another day i survive
