ripping forests, killing trees
mother nature is on her knees
they're tearing down her forestland
to place their urban disneyland

cities growing, crowding in
people packing into a sardine can
animals running, where can they hide
concrete and metal closing in on all sides

pollution, decay, and poisoning
cash before all reasoning
raping out poor virgin earth
stripping her of all her worth

atomic ozone atmosphere
making the clouds disappear
acid rain, corroded ground
toxic waste lying all around

dumping garbage, poisoning streams
in fulfillment of the american dream
soon you just can't take a breath
soon we will all starve to death

a barren desert, earth is dead
skeletal bodies soon perish unfed
imbalance of nature a fatal mistake
polluting the planet was more than she could take
