Her Justice
If I saw her today
And she wanted to hear what I had to say
Knowing honesty was the only way
What would I tell her?
We were so young when we met
But after all these years I'll never forget
After all these years I still regret
The way I treated her
She was the one good thing in life's tragedy
Remind myself of what an idiot I used to be
She is so much better of a person than me
My self awareness is her justice
That I'll never get a chance to clear my name
To always be remembered as dumb and lame
That her trust in me could never be the same
I deserve that justice
And she wanted to hear what I had to say
Knowing honesty was the only way
What would I tell her?
We were so young when we met
But after all these years I'll never forget
After all these years I still regret
The way I treated her
She was the one good thing in life's tragedy
Remind myself of what an idiot I used to be
She is so much better of a person than me
My self awareness is her justice
That I'll never get a chance to clear my name
To always be remembered as dumb and lame
That her trust in me could never be the same
I deserve that justice
